About Michael
I am a writer/screenwriter and linguist, having lived and worked in Paris over the course of 6 years. I studied Russian (in French) at the Sorbonne and also graduated from the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INLCO). During that time I also worked as an interpreter. Years later I worked for the French Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles, where the language of the office was French and my MS Word was the French version (for my reports as an Attache Commercial). Thus I am quite fluent in French, with an excellent French accent. I also speak Spanish quite well, with Russian and German less so due to lack of practice. My Chinese is quite basic. I tutored French in 2018 and 2019.

My teaching method is getting you to speak French from Day 1, using 4 verbs and building your vocabulary with questions and answers. The first two lessons will act to perfect your French accent. However, your accent does NOT have to be perfect. Some foreign accents are charming. I also teach some social culture with my instruction. If my classes are not fun while learning, I have failed.
