My eight years dedicated to guitar instruction have been a constant reminder that every student's path is distinct and deserves a uniquely tailored approach. My lessons are specifically designed to meet you precisely where you are in your musical development and to guide you towards your individual goals, whether they involve strumming simple songs, mastering intricate fingerstyle arrangements, or improvising captivating solos. I believe in a patient and progressive method, ensuring that each concept and technique is thoroughly understood before moving forward. Music theory is woven into our practical sessions, providing you with the essential knowledge to understand harmony, melody, and rhythm, empowering you to not just play, but to truly comprehend the music you create, all within a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that celebrates your personal progress and fosters a lifelong love for the guitar.

About the lesson

My eight years as a guitar instructor have been a journey of continuous learning and adaptation, guiding over 300 students with varied musical aspirations. My teaching style blends structured lessons with the flexibility to explore individual interests. I firmly believe in the importance of a strong technical foundation, covering essential skills like chord voicings, scales, and rhythmic accuracy. However, I also understand that motivation comes from playing the music one loves. Therefore, I incorporate students' favorite songs and genres into our lessons, making learning both engaging and relevant. For those interested in improvisation, I provide a framework for understanding harmony and melody, encouraging them to develop their own soloing skills. For students with songwriting ambitions, I offer guidance on song structure, chord progressions, and lyrical content. My greatest joy lies in witnessing the transformation of my students as they develop their skills, confidence, and lifelong passion for playing the guitar.
