About Evren
I’m a passionate piano teacher with over 14 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. I believe music is not just about playing the right notes—it’s about telling a story and feeling every sound. My goal is to help students connect emotionally to the music they play while developing a strong foundation in theory and technique. I tailor each lesson to suit the student's pace, learning style, and musical goals. From classical to contemporary, I guide students in exploring a variety of styles to discover what inspires them most. I place equal importance on technical skill and musical expression. Through scales, sight-reading, ear training, and exercises, I help students build confidence and precision. I also introduce musical interpretation early on, so students learn to play with heart and meaning. Whether you're a beginner or advancing your skills, I create a positive and structured learning environment. Seeing a student light up after mastering a piece or expressing a mood through music is why I teach. I believe learning piano should be both disciplined and joyful. With patience, encouragement, and clear guidance, I support students in growing as confident, expressive musicians.

My teaching approach is designed to support students aiming for high-level performances, competitions, or professional recordings. I focus on both musical expression and technical precision to bring out the best in each student. From the very first lesson, I emphasize posture, finger technique, and phrasing to build a strong foundation.
I guide students in developing stage presence, helping them feel confident and composed during performances. For those preparing for exams or formal recitals, I provide structured practice plans and feedback tailored to their goals. I also support students involved in church music or public events, ensuring their playing is expressive, polished, and meaningful.
In recording sessions, I teach students how to use digital audio workstations (DAWs) and audio analysis tools to refine their sound. We review recordings together to understand tone quality, timing, and dynamics in detail. This helps students become more aware of their playing and more confident in capturing their best performance.
My lessons are both focused and encouraging. I believe that consistent practice, guided feedback, and a love for the music create true growth. Whether on stage or in the studio, I help students perform with clarity, emotion, and skill.
