About Iraani
I’m a piano tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance. I specialise in teaching different types of pianos to accompany vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs. My lessons focus on key skills like reading lead sheets, transposing on the fly, and developing strong rhythmic sensitivity. I help students adapt to a wide variety of musical styles, from jazz to pop and beyond. My teaching approach is student-centred, tailored to meet the unique needs of school students as well as adult and professional accompanists. I’ve worked with learners at all levels—beginners, advanced players, and even those at the professional and expert stage. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your skills for performances, I’m here to guide you. I emphasise practical playing techniques and musical communication. Together, we explore how to listen and respond in real time, which is essential for great accompaniment. My goal is to help you build confidence and fluidity at the keyboard.
