About Mia
I place strong focus on improvisation, chord voicings, theory application, and songwriting to help students become well-rounded musicians. Whether you're a young learner just picking up the instrument or an adult refining your craft, my student-centered approach ensures you get the support and guidance you need. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring students who now perform on stage, compose their own music, or simply enjoy playing with confidence at home. In my lessons, I blend technical foundations with creative expression. I make sure that music theory is not just understood—but applied in ways that inspire. We explore tone, rhythm, and feel while developing strong technique and musical independence. Teaching is more than instruction—it's a collaboration. I’m here to guide, encourage, and challenge you. Let’s build your musical journey together and make guitar a lasting, creative part of your life.

My teaching approach is built on passion, patience, and a deep love for music. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, I tailor each lesson to fit your unique goals and style. I cover a wide range of guitar types—classical, electric, acoustic, bass, and jazz—ensuring a solid foundation in technique and expression.
I introduce students to music theory in a fun and engaging way, helping them understand scales, chords, harmony, and rhythm. Alongside traditional methods, I use modern tech tools like digital tuners, metronomes, tablature software, and recording apps to enhance practice and learning. We also work with backing tracks and loop stations to build timing and improvisation skills.
My lessons focus on ear training, sight reading, finger exercises, and fretboard mastery. For students aiming for live performance or band involvement, I provide stage readiness, confidence building, and sound gear basics. I also help classical learners perfect their tone, posture, and discipline.
Creativity is key. I encourage songwriting, jamming, and experimenting with new sounds. Every student is different, so I adapt my teaching style to bring out their best. No matter your genre or level, I’ll support you every step of the way to become a confident and skilled guitarist.
