About the lesson

With eight years of experience teaching guitar to over 300 individuals, I've cultivated a teaching style that is both structured and flexible, catering to the diverse needs and aspirations of my students. I believe in building a strong technical foundation, covering essential skills such as proper posture, finger dexterity, and picking techniques. However, I also emphasize the importance of musicality, encouraging students to play with feeling and expression. Whether a student is drawn to the blues, folk, rock, or classical repertoire, I tailor my lessons to explore the specific techniques and stylistic nuances of their preferred genres. I also incorporate ear training and music theory in a practical and accessible way, helping students to develop a deeper understanding of the music they play. My aim is to empower my students to become not just proficient guitarists but also well-rounded musicians who can express themselves creatively through their instrument.
