About Finn
My teaching methodology for violin combines flexibility, positivity, diplomacy, and accountability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe every student has unique strengths, and I tailor lessons to suit individual needs, whether it's focusing on technique, musicality, or performance. Flexibility in approach allows me to adapt to different learning styles and goals, whether preparing for an exam or simply enjoying the process of learning. I emphasize positivity to help students stay motivated, build confidence, and overcome challenges. Diplomacy plays a key role in guiding students through constructive feedback, ensuring they feel encouraged and valued. I hold students accountable for their progress, while providing the necessary support to help them reach their potential. Besides violin, I can also teach music theory and ear training to complement students’ overall musical development. Together, we will build a solid foundation and inspire a love for music!

With 10 years of experience teaching violin to students from school to college, I am passionate about making music accessible and enjoyable for all. My journey as a violin instructor has been shaped by a deep love for music and education, helping students build not just technical skills, but also a lifelong appreciation for the instrument. Over the years, I have guided many students to achieve their musical goals, whether it's mastering difficult pieces or preparing for exams. My goal is to create a fun, supportive learning environment where every student feels confident and motivated to grow.
