About Owen
I have over 7 years of experience teaching Physics, supported by an MSc in Applied Physics. My expertise lies in wave phenomena, especially optics and sound. I enjoy guiding students through challenging concepts like interference, diffraction, and electromagnetic waves. Ray tracing is a core skill I develop with students, helping them understand how light bends and reflects. I also emphasize applications in photonics, imaging sciences, and telecommunications. This creates a direct link between theory and real-life use. My teaching methodology blends conceptual explanations with practical problem-solving. I provide exam-focused support through past papers, which strengthens both speed and confidence. Learners also build reasoning skills that help them across subjects. For me, Physics is more than academic learning—it is about curiosity. I want my students to enjoy discovering how waves shape the world of science, technology, and everyday life.

My teaching methodology in Physics is built on clarity, problem-solving, and application. I use engineering-related topics such as materials science, fluid systems, and dynamics to illustrate how Physics connects to the real world. Students quickly see how equations describe the designs and technologies they use every day.
Lessons are interactive and carefully paced. I explain concepts step by step and provide multiple problem-solving strategies. Real-life examples keep the subject engaging and show why Physics matters beyond the classroom.
Exam takers benefit from structured practice with timed questions and past papers. I also provide tailored lessons for Physics teachers and computational physicists looking to strengthen their applied skills.
Physics is about more than just formulas—it’s about understanding the world around us. My approach ensures learners gain both confidence and practical knowledge they can use.
