About Aiko

Coffee and animal lover, born and raised in Osaka, Japan. With Japanese mother and American father, I had a chance to be surrounded in both English and Japanese language since I was little. *Native in Japanese, English is my second language
With genuine interests in other cultures, I have lived abroad as an exchange student in Melbourne when I was high school, and also studied at university in Sweden for 2 years .
I love meeting people from other cultures with different languages, and introducing Japanese culture.

Since graduating from one of the top universities in Japan, I have 8 years of experience working in a management / IT consulting firm using Japanese as primary working language, so if you need help with business speaking and writing, please contact me for details!

About the lesson

Teaching focus: Focusing on conversational Japanese, we can discuss on what you would like to learn. I believe mastering language is all about practice, so rather than explaining, I’ll give you more time speaking!

Length of a lesson : I recommend having lesson in person, 45mins for kids and beginners, 90mins~ for school students, and can customize time for intermediate & advanced level adults.
Adults can have short morning session before work 7-9am in Subiaco upon request.

Place : library/cafes in Perth CBD or Subiaco for adults, can come to your home for kids tutoring.

Experience and qualification : have experience helping students learning Japanese at universities (beginner to advanced).

Furthermore, since she used to halp her parents's kinds English school, she has great skills to deal with children.
Personally my favorite for her is that she is always on time.
