About Tierra
Hi, my name is Tierra! I just finished my freshman year at Dartmouth College as an undergraduate student. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I'm majoring in mathematics in college. Education: -Undergraduate at Dartmouth College, Mathematics major, 3.9 cumulative GPA -West Valley High School Graduate, 4.0 cumulative GPA Experience: -Tutored in high school -Member of Association for Women in Mathematics, Dartmouth College Student Chapter -Intern at biomedical engineering lab at Dartmouth College -Worked at Wonderlich Dermatology in Fairbanks, Alaska -Took and practiced the SAT several times

When attending West Valley High School, I volunteered as a tutor for various subjects. I'm interested in tutoring math subjects ranging from elementary levels to Calculus 1. I'm specifically passionate about helping younger children feel confident in their ability to do well in math. Having two younger siblings in elementary school, I believe that children should have the opportunity to explore math subjects without the pressure of the classroom.
Summer is a perfect time to strengthen previous skills, learn new material, and be able to focus on math in a more relaxed environment!
