About Julia
I am a licensed teacher who taught 7th-8th grade English to underperforming students and English language learners. I have worked with students with special needs and those who are gifted or twice-exceptional.
I currently work at a university as a librarian, but I also adjunct English (first year writing) classes so I can keep my passion for teaching alive.

I prefer one-on-one or small group sessions during which we are able to get to the heart of a students' interests and be certain they are learning in an environment that enriches and stimulates them. Reading is for everyone, and can change lives! English is the heart of understanding all other subjects! I am very passionate about what I do, so I aim to ignite passion in my students.
