I would adapt the leaning process based on the game type and player type. Everyone learns differently. I am known to be patient and able to look at topics from different points of views which will help you with understanding. I can go very in depth with the current "meta" or just give the basic knowledge of the game, whichever would be more helpful to you! Anyone from total beginner to expert would be able to pick a few things up from our sessions.
I actively am playing multiple games at a medium to high level of understanding and skill. I am new to teaching, but have always been told I should look into it after helping friends pick up new games and hobbies. I also stream on Twitch where I answer viewer's questions about the current games I am playing, so I am use to answering the same questions over and over. Don't worry, you can not annoy with any questions you might have. I would love to help more people get into the gaming scene anyway I can!
I am willing to travel pretty far. I know the midwest does not have the biggest gaming scene, but I will not let that hold us down! If in person is prefered I would need a little extra to cover travel costs. Always open to negeotiation.
Excellent! Good advice.
