About Lucas

My name is Lucas, I’m originally from Brazil and I’ve been living in Chicago for the past three and a half years. I grew up surrounded by football and have been playing and coaching for many years, both in Brazil and here in the U.S. Football is more than a sport for me — it’s a way to teach discipline, teamwork, and confidence. I’ve worked with children and teens of different levels, from complete beginners to more advanced players looking to sharpen their skills. I also enjoy coaching women and always adapt my approach to each player’s pace and goals. My focus is always on fundamentals, technical development, and creating a supportive and fun learning environment. Whether your child is just getting started or already plays and wants to improve technique, I’m here to guide them step by step with patience, energy, and clear instruction.

About the lesson

My sessions are structured around each player's level and needs. I focus on teaching strong fundamentals, proper technique, tactical awareness, and game intelligence. Every session includes warm-up, skill work, drills, and game-like situations. I believe in positive reinforcement, building confidence, and making players feel supported. I work with young kids learning the basics, teens preparing for competitive play, and women of all skill levels who want to learn or improve. My Brazilian football background brings creativity and flair to my sessions, while my experience in the U.S. helps me adjust to local needs and expectations. I really recommend him, he helped me a lot, he didn't teach me on this site, but I had face-to-face lessons, a friend recommended him to me and my wife and I started lessons with Lucas, I'm very grateful because he helped me a lot in my work and travelling!
