About the lesson

Hello! Personally, as a tutor, I am very easygoing and can utilize visual aids such as slide presentations with pictures to assist in learning as well as create practice worksheets to increase lesson comprehension. In addition, I utilize Quizlet flashcards and diagrams. I received a near-perfect ACT score in Reading and have excelled in all of my English classes and currently hold an A in all of my college courses. I am younger so kids may feel more comfortable learning with me. I recommend these lessons for 1st-7th graders who need extra help on foundational skills such as reading comprehension and vocabulary. I may not be the best option for highly advanced students, as my lessons are geared to be more supplemental and not as rigorous as the honors level curriculum would be. I believe that having an understanding tutor who pays attention to detail in students and gets to know them creates happier, more effective learners!
