About 未来

Hello! I am Miki, a Master of Business student at Queensland University of Technology.
Before coming to Brisbane, I was living in Japan for more than 20 years.
I had experience working for an IT company as a sales in Japan for about 3 years.
I'm currently teaching Japanese to students (6-50+ years old) from different levels. ️

-The Beginner Level: teaching casual / polite conversation for a trip to Japan and how to read Hiragana
-The Middle Level: teaching Kanji (Chinese Characters) and casual / natural conversation
-The Advanced Level: teaching business-level Japanese, which is useful for the workplace

My hobby is cooking Japanese food, and listening to J-pop.
I’d like to teach Japanese because I have a strong passion for sharing Japanese culture through languages.
I can speak English fluently (IELTS 7.0) so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! I’m looking forward to talking with you.

Perfect! Miki was always reliable, prepared and patient with my boys (and also me, as scheduler). My son's grades improved after she started working with him on his school Japanese, and my boys enjoyed her lessons.

When I met with Miki, she encouraged me to speak in Japanese straight away which gave me the confidence to try!! I didn't feel judged or embarrassed despite how long it took me to get through some simple sentences, and she patiently broke down everything I had trouble understanding, so I never got lost.

Miki was very friendly and encouraging and explained everything for me very well and wrote down notes for me to take with me and look on again later. It was a very enjoyable learning experience, and I hope to learn from her again!!! :)
