About Yali
With a Master's degree in International Relations from a renowned Chinese university, I have extensive bilingual language experiences such as teaching, editing, translation in areas of business, education and mental health. I have published language learning books and translated articles in media.
I am happy to tutor students who're interested in learning Chinese for daily communication, study or business purposes. I have a Level A Mandarin certificate and IELTS speaking band 7.5.

My teaching is personalized because I value the students' interests and autonomy in learning. I combine games, music, movies and cultural and social topics in my lessons. I will give my students a survey of their interests, goals and ways of learning at the beginning of lessons.
Each lesson is 40 minutes with listening, speaking, reading and writing. Every time, there are 2 lessons with a 10min break.
