About Trent

I’m an English tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master of Education in English Language Learning. Teaching children has always been my passion, and I love creating lessons that feel like playtime. I use songs, stories, and games to make English exciting and easy to remember. Craft-based activities are a favourite in my sessions because they let kids learn while making something with their hands. Through fun, play-based methods, I help children explore phonics, take their first steps in reading, and build simple conversations. I believe learning should spark curiosity, so I fill every class with moments that make kids want to ask questions. Listening is just as important as speaking, so I weave in songs and playful exercises to grow strong listening skills. My goal is to create a space where English feels like an adventure, not a chore. Over the years, I’ve seen how laughter and learning go hand in hand. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to make sure each one feels encouraged and excited. About the lesson

My teaching approach is all about making English exciting, useful, and easy to learn. I mix grammar games with real-life examples, so students don’t just memorise rules—they enjoy using them. Storytelling plays a big role in my lessons, because stories make language come alive and stick in your memory. I also use visual aids like flashcards, images, and videos to make tricky concepts simple and fun. I believe learning should be interactive, so there’s plenty of speaking, listening, and creative exercises. Repetition is key, but I make it playful with songs, role plays, and mini challenges. Whether it’s building strong vocabulary, improving pronunciation, or mastering reading and writing, my lessons grow step by step. I’m patient and supportive with learners who are starting fresh or learning English for fun, helping them gain confidence without pressure. I celebrate every small win and turn mistakes into learning moments. From casual conversations to more focused practice, I create lessons that fit each learner’s goals. In every session, the goal is simple: make English something you look forward to. Because when learning feels like a game, progress comes naturally—and fast!
