About Alan
Originally from NYC, I moved to the Binghamton area and obtained a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from BU. Through engineering classes, projects, and internships I gained experience in additive manufacturing, part design, systems modeling and simulation, as well as building computers. I designed and built my own personal workstation computer for engineering purposes using both air and liquid cooling components. In high school I tutored elementary level math to kids, and in college I tutored Pre-Calculus as well as engineering analysis methods. I take pride in student success and I enjoy teaching complex ideas in a relatable fashion. Engineering is a lot of fun, and you can be an engineer too!

All languages in which the lesson is available :
English
General engineering applications and mechanical design. Lesson topics include mathematical operations and systems modeling in MATLAB, design and simulation techniques in CAD, and 3D printing. A typical lesson goes through analytical representation of a system or problem by hand, then modeling using numerical techniques through computer software. By solving engineering problems you will learn concepts in mathematics, physics, circuitry, chemistry & material science, as well as technical skills on the computer. For students in middle school, high school, or college.
