About Sage
My piano teaching methodology centers around five key principles: Motivation, Patience, Compassion, Creativity, and Technique. Each lesson is crafted to inspire and engage students while building their skills.
I start by setting clear, achievable goals and celebrating milestones to keep students motivated. By understanding each student’s personal interests and aspirations, I tailor lessons to spark enthusiasm and drive. Patience is crucial, so I approach each student's progress with care, providing constructive feedback and allowing them to learn at their own pace. I ensure that every student feels supported and valued.
I create a nurturing environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, adapting my methods to meet their unique needs and learning styles. Creativity is encouraged through exploring various genres, improvisation, and composition, helping students develop their own musical voice and deepen their understanding of music.
Technique is a fundamental focus, with attention to proper hand positioning and finger strength to build solid piano skills. Whether teaching piano or related subjects, my aim is to make learning enjoyable and effective, guiding students towards musical excellence with a supportive and personalized approach.

With over 4 years of dedicated experience, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Piano to more than 150 high school and college students, helping them develop their skills and passion for music. My journey as a tutor has been driven by my love for both music and education, and my goal is to inspire and guide students to reach their full potential.
I’ve seen students achieve remarkable progress, whether it's mastering complex compositions or building confidence in their performances. My teaching approach is personalized, focusing on each student’s unique needs, whether they aim to improve technique, deepen their understanding of music theory, or explore composition.
A significant milestone in my career has been helping students successfully perform at recitals and exams, with many going on to pursue music further in college. I am passionate about fostering a supportive, engaging, and creative learning environment, where students feel encouraged to express themselves through music.
