About Lila

I have been teaching Spanish for over 4 years, helping students of all levels build both fluency and confidence. I hold a Bachelor of International Studies with a Spanish Major, where I focused on Latin American Studies and Performing Arts. My passion lies in making Spanish come alive through culture, sound, and storytelling. In my lessons, I use Latin American cinema, music, and pop culture as powerful tools to connect students with the language. We explore movie dialogues, song lyrics, and authentic cultural references that reflect how Spanish is truly spoken. This makes learning both practical and engaging. I also focus on regional expressions and variations so students can understand the richness of the Spanish-speaking world. Through this immersive approach, listening, comprehension, and vocabulary improve naturally and effectively. Instead of memorizing, students experience Spanish in real contexts that they can relate to.
