About Lily

I am a Spanish tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature. Teaching Spanish is more than my profession—it is my passion, and I love helping students connect with the language in ways that are practical and exciting. My lessons focus on real-world conversational Spanish, designed for travelers, expats, and anyone preparing for new adventures. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Spanish is practical, structured, and student-focused. I believe learning a language should build confidence as well as skill, so I design lessons that are interactive and meaningful. To improve listening practice, I use audio clips, dialogues, and real-life scenarios that train the ear to understand natural Spanish. For reading comprehension, I bring short articles, stories, and exam-style texts to help students recognize patterns and improve vocabulary. Test preparation is also a key part of my methodology. I teach students effective strategies for answering questions under time pressure, including timed response exercises and mock tests. This helps them build both accuracy and speed. I also share simple memory techniques for grammar rules and vocabulary, which makes learning easier and more effective. I support learners who need Spanish for travel, studies, or professional goals by focusing on practical communication skills. For these students, I design role-play activities and task-based exercises that reflect real-world situations. My lessons are flexible and student-led, so learners feel ownership of their progress.
