About Quincy

I am a passionate violin tutor with 10 years of experience in teaching school to college students. My love for music and education drives me to help students unlock their full potential on the violin. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of guiding numerous students, watching them grow from beginners to accomplished musicians.

My teaching style is rooted in Flexibility, Motivation, and Cultural Sensitivity. I believe that each student is unique, so I tailor my lessons to fit their individual needs and goals. I set achievable milestones to keep students motivated and inspired, celebrating their progress every step of the way. By incorporating a diverse range of musical styles and traditions, I help students appreciate the cultural richness of the violin.

One of my significant milestones was leading a student ensemble to win a regional music competition, showcasing their dedication and our collective hard work. In addition to violin, I also teach viola, cello, and erhu, providing a well-rounded understanding of string instruments.

My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can develop their skills and a lifelong passion for music. I am committed to helping each student achieve their musical dreams, one note at a time.
