About Layla
I am a violin tutor with a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy and over 7 years of teaching experience. My lessons integrate music theory, aural skills, and sight reading into daily practice. I specialize in preparing students for music theory exams and strengthening advanced harmony understanding. Practical exercises in scales, intervals, and harmony are taught through bowing and fingering techniques. I work with exam candidates and students who want to enhance overall musical fluency. Lessons combine technical skill with theoretical knowledge. Sight reading and ear training are emphasized to develop confident musicianship. I focus on phrasing, articulation, and expressive playing.
