About Mira
I hold a master’s degree in violin performance and have been teaching for six years, working with students ranging from beginners to advanced players. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, individualized instruction, and fostering a love for the instrument. My personal experience includes performing in orchestras, chamber groups, and solo recitals. This background gives me valuable insight into the challenges and rewards of learning the violin, which I use to guide my students effectively through their musical journeys. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment. I believe that every student can achieve their musical goals with the right balance of discipline and encouragement. Helping students discover their unique sound and passion is my greatest fulfillment as a teacher.

My violin lessons begin with establishing proper posture, bow hold, and finger placement to build a solid technical foundation. I emphasize correct intonation early on through exercises and scales, which help develop your ear and precision. Lessons progress gradually to suit your pace, making learning enjoyable and effective.
As you advance, we explore advanced bowing techniques such as legato, staccato, and spiccato to add expression and dynamics to your playing. Sight-reading and music theory are integrated to improve your overall musicianship. Each lesson is tailored to your goals, whether classical repertoire, folk, or contemporary styles.
Performance skills are also a key focus. I help students prepare for recitals, auditions, and informal playing by emphasizing stage presence, confidence, and musical interpretation. Through consistent practice and feedback, you’ll gain both technical mastery and expressive depth on the violin.
