About Kaitlyn
I am a passionate French tutor with a Master’s degree in French Language and Literature and over six years of experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. My journey with the French language began during my university studies and blossomed through immersion in Francophone cultures. Teaching allows me to share not only the language but also the rich cultural heritage that makes French so vibrant and meaningful. Throughout my career, I have guided learners ranging from beginners to advanced students preparing for exams or professional use. For beginners, I emphasize foundational elements such as basic grammar, essential vocabulary, and clear pronunciation. I use interactive activities, including dialogues and listening exercises, to build your confidence and help you start speaking French early on. This hands-on approach makes learning both enjoyable and effective.
Intermediate and advanced learners work on refining their language skills through complex grammar structures, advanced vocabulary, and writing practice. We also explore French culture and idiomatic expressions to deepen your understanding and fluency. Reading authentic materials, such as articles and literature excerpts, helps strengthen comprehension and critical thinking.
With a Master’s degree in French and six years of teaching experience, I combine academic knowledge with practical teaching methods.
