Math and accounting major college student offering math lessons for elementary, middle, and statistics students in the Torrance Area
Methodology
I am a college student who is working toward their associates in mathematics, so I can become a math teacher and accounting. I give lessons to elementary and middle school students and students in high school and college who are taking statistics.
I am a hands-on tutor and I like to first explain every step of the problem then help students walk themselves through it. I offer in-person and zoom lessons with prepared material based on what you are currently learning and what you need extra help on.
Background
I have been giving informal math lessons to many friends since high school, and I work with my six-year-old sister with her learning during these hard times. I have tutored two friends in statistics, the first girl got a D the first time she took it and then got a B when she made up the course the next semester, with my help. My current statistic student has a B in the class.
I am also a manager for an afterschool program with middle schoolers and often have to help with homework.
