About Sylvia

Hello! I’m a native Chinese speaker with a strong academic background in mathematics. I graduated from a top university in China and scored 128/150 in the national college entrance exam (Gaokao) math section, as well as a perfect score on the GRE quantitative section. I also hold a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering in New York University and currently work as a financial analyst. My teaching is patient, structured, and results-oriented. I help students build a deep understanding of math concepts, whether they need support with schoolwork, test preparation, or confidence in problem-solving. With both academic excellence and real-world experience, I bring clarity, calm, and purpose to every lesson.

About the lesson
