About Miles

I am a Mathematics tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and a BA in Mathematics. My main academic focus lies in topology and knot theory, areas of mathematics that explore the deep nature of shapes, spaces, and continuous deformations. These subjects may seem abstract, but they hold surprising connections to the world we see and touch. In my sessions, I use visual aids, diagrams, and physical models to make these concepts come alive. From illustrating the twists of a knot to mapping the surfaces of complex spaces, I ensure students can “see” the mathematics.
