About Kris

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at California State University Long Beach in 2021. During my time at CSULB, I conducted research in Theoretical Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and the Boundary Layer Problem. After graduating, I began my career in the National Defense Industry, designing reconnaissance aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles for contracts totaling more than $300,000. In 2023, I earned the MathWorks MATLAB Associate License. In 2024, I earned my teaching credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

I have over five years of tutoring experience with students at both the high school and university level. My teaching approach involves giving students more autonomy and decision making. By doing so, my students form the critical thinking skills needed to succeed in the modern engineering industry of today.

About the lesson

Anything is possible through my tutoring sessions. This is where students have an opportunity to map out their ideas, ask me challenging questions, and gain a true understanding of the subject matter. My sessions are quite different from that of a presentation. They are more of a conversation or interactive dialogue than anything. My lessons are intended for students enrolled in: Engineering Statics, Engineering Thermodynamics, Engineering Dynamics, Numerical Methods, Propulsion, Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Flight Mechanics, Orbital Mechanics, Space Flight, Spacecraft Dynamics, Spacecraft Systems, Control Systems, MATLAB, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Vector Mathematics, Multivariable Calculus, Calculus I, II, and III, Precalculus, Chemistry, Physics, and more.
