About Joseph
Hello, my name is Joe! I am 26 years old with a Master's degree in TESOL from the University at Buffalo. During my studies, I was a recipient of the prestigious Freeman Scholarship Award for Study in Asia. Since graduating, I have gained experience teaching English to learners of all ages from around the world. I am passionate about helping students achieve their language goals, am dedicated to creating engaging, effective learning experiences for diverse learners.

My lessons are tailored to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and individual goals. I have worked with students who have preferred a more classic, strict approach to lessons - intensive vocabulary and grammar correction. I have also worked with those who just want to have relaxed conversation practice.
For this reason, I do not have a strict approach to the structure of individual lessons. However, I always endeavor to create open and stress-free learning environments. I am also a firm believer in targeted, specific feedback recorded and sent back to students after each lesson.
Students of all ages and experience levels are welcome! From teaching children with little to no experience with the language, young adults striving to increase their TOEFL scores for university preparation, to advanced business oriented English to professionals - I have experience with all!
