I graduated magna cum laude form the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with highest honors for my senior thesis in molecular & cellular biology. I completed a double major in Classics (concentration in Latin) and Molecular & Cellular Biology as an honors student. I have completed graduation requirements for my medical degree and will receive my MD degree this year. I’m passionate about teaching and have several years of paid teaching experience. I’ve worked as general chemistry TA for undergraduate students and a personal tutor for medical students in basic sciences and clinical sciences. I also instruct clinical skills classes for medical students. I hope to work with a diversity of students and learning styles who are looking for assistance with basic sciences (high school, college, or medical school level), SAT/ACT prep, MCAT prep, etc. I am also qualified to assist with English writing skills (grammar, proofreading) as well as resume prep and basic Latin tutoring for students studying the language.
