About Selin

I bring over 3 years of biology tutoring experience and hold an MSc in Immunology. My love for teaching comes from connecting science with the real world, especially in marine biology and oceanography. I focus on helping learners understand ecosystems, currents, and the human impact on oceans. I use interactive methods like documentaries, articles, and class discussions to make lessons engaging. About the lesson

Biology is at its most exciting when we explore what cannot be seen. My teaching approach focuses on microbiology, bacteria, viruses, and the spread of disease. Lessons are calm, structured, and reflective, helping learners absorb knowledge steadily. I explain immunity step by step, showing how the body defends itself. Public health biology connects these lessons to global challenges. I use examples of past epidemics, hygiene practices, and vaccines to show why biology matters. My teaching adapts to each learner’s needs. Toxicologists are guided to understand how toxins and microbes interact. Tinkerers are encouraged to test ideas and explore unusual questions. My goal is to make every student feel supported and capable. Complex ideas are broken down clearly while still keeping a sense of wonder. Students learn not only science but also responsibility for health and society. I create lessons that inspire confidence, curiosity, and deeper thinking. Biology becomes a journey of discovery into the unseen world.
