About Amirul
I am a first class graduate from Monash University, who is currently researching AI and developing software as a freelancer.
I have 2 years of experience as an undergraduate TA at monash, teaching python programming and theory of computation. I also have 1 year of experience tutoring my juniors for IGCSE. In both of these, my students have punched well above their weight and shown significant improvement for both assignments and exams.
My main areas of expertise include theoretical topics such as discrete and continuous maths, data structures and algorithms, etc, but I also have plenty of practical experience in software development and competitive programming.

As a tutor, I prioritize tailoring each lesson to the unique needs and learning styles of my students. These are based on not just my experience as being a tutor for 3 years, but also my own experience as a student studying alone or in group study sessions with my friends.
My goal is to not just teach concepts but to cultivate deep understanding and confidently explain the "why" behind concepts. I have a lot of professional experience to correctly identify what information is essential to know in a typical job and what isn't.
