About Maeve
I have over 4 years of experience teaching Physics, and I hold an MSc in Physics. My passion is helping students understand the physics behind everyday objects and natural phenomena. I use simple demonstrations and relatable examples—like boiling water, bouncing balls, or how a car brakes—to make concepts clear and meaningful. I believe physics is all around us, and I love challenging students to think deeply about how things work. By breaking down ideas into easy-to-grasp parts, I help students overcome common conceptual challenges. My teaching encourages curiosity and inspires students to ask questions about the world. I focus on making lessons interactive and fun, so learning physics doesn’t feel like a chore. I adapt my approach to each student’s pace, making sure they feel confident and engaged. Watching students discover the wonders of physics in daily life is truly rewarding. My goal is to make physics not just understandable, but relevant and fascinating. Together, we’ll explore how the physical world works and develop skills that last a lifetime. Let’s make physics an exciting part of your everyday observation!

My teaching approach in Physics is systematic and clear. I focus on breaking down complex macroscopic behaviours into simple, easy-to-understand parts. I cover core subjects such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws. Along with these, I also include related topics like energy conservation and fluid mechanics. I believe in hands-on learning, so I use gadgets and experiments to help students see physics in action. This makes abstract concepts more real and easier to grasp. I provide consistent feedback to guide students and help them improve step by step. By focusing on core principles, we build a strong understanding of energy and how it works in different systems. I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and style, ensuring they feel confident in their knowledge. My goal is to support students in excelling not just in exams but in truly mastering physics. With regular practice and clear explanations, students gain skills they can use beyond the classroom. Together, we will make physics understandable and even enjoyable.
