About Reid
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Astrophysics. My passion goes beyond formulas—I love exploring the rich history of physics and the groundbreaking experiments that changed how we see the world. I often dive into Galileo’s pioneering experiments, Newton’s laws of motion, Maxwell’s elegant equations, and the bold discoveries of the quantum revolution. Understanding physics means more than just learning facts. I guide my students to appreciate the scientific method—the way careful observation and testing lead to new knowledge. I also emphasize the intellectual bravery shown by great scientists who challenged old beliefs and opened new paths. Together, we explore how these pivotal moments shaped modern science. My lessons connect history with today’s concepts, making physics alive and meaningful. I encourage curiosity and critical thinking, helping students not just learn but truly understand. Join me on a journey through the most exciting chapters of physics history. Let’s discover the stories behind the science and inspire a lifelong love for learning.

My teaching approach in Physics is practical and clear. I focus on making difficult ideas simple by using everyday analogies and interactive simulations. This helps students understand subjects like electromagnetism, circuits and current, waves and optics, and the basics of quantum physics. Each lesson is designed to shine light on complex topics, so they feel easier to grasp.
I believe learning should be active and engaging. Students don’t just memorize; they explore how physics works in real life. I encourage questions and discussions, helping students build strong foundations. My goal is to connect theory with practical examples, making physics interesting and relevant.
I provide tailored guidance to suit each student’s needs. Whether they are preparing for exams, working on assignments, or dreaming of careers in engineering or space science, I help them reach their goals. I support them every step of the way to build confidence and excel in their studies.
By combining clear explanations, practical tools, and encouragement, I create a positive learning environment. Together, we unlock the mysteries of the universe and prepare students for success in scientific fields.
