About Myra
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Physics. My passion lies in helping students understand the physics hidden in everyday life. I believe the subject becomes more engaging when learners can connect it to familiar objects and real-world situations. In my lessons, I often use simple demonstrations and relatable examples to explain complex ideas. We might explore energy transfer through a pot of boiling water, study motion using a bouncing ball, or discuss friction and momentum through car braking. These activities make abstract laws feel real and memorable. I also create conceptual challenges that encourage students to think beyond the formula. Instead of just memorizing, I want them to ask “why” and “how” at every stage. This approach develops both problem-solving skills and a deeper appreciation for the subject. Over the years, I have worked with learners at all levels, from beginners building their foundations to advanced students preparing for exams or research. I enjoy fostering curiosity about the physical world, showing that physics is not just for textbooks but for life itself. With the right guidance, you can turn daily observations into exciting scientific discoveries. Let’s make physics a relevant and fascinating part of how you see the world.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on building active, conceptual understanding combined with practical application. I believe that learning Physics means not only knowing the laws but also being able to use them to explain and predict real-world phenomena. I teach a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of Newtonian mechanics to forces and motion, energy conservation, and advanced problem-solving techniques grounded in core principles.
In every lesson, I emphasize the “why” behind the formulas. By connecting theories to hands-on examples, I make abstract ideas tangible and memorable. Whether it’s analyzing the motion of a pendulum, exploring the conservation of energy in a roller coaster, or breaking down everyday mechanics, I use relatable situations to deepen understanding.
I work closely with Career Re-aligners who want to shift into physics-related fields, as well as Theorists who aim to master the subject’s abstract and mathematical side. My guidance helps them apply physical principles with confidence in exams, research, and real-world projects.
Each session includes a mix of problem-solving drills, conceptual discussions, and visual demonstrations. I encourage questions at every stage, ensuring that learners build a strong mental model of the subject. By the end of the learning process, students not only solve problems faster but also see the physical world with greater clarity.
