About Caitlin

I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. My academic journey has been shaped by a strong focus on plasma physics and fusion energy research. Plasma, often called the fourth state of matter, lies at the heart of some of the most exciting challenges in modern science. My background includes work on plasma states, magnetic confinement, and inertial confinement—key areas in the pursuit of fusion energy. I enjoy breaking down these complex ideas into clear, simple concepts that students can grasp with confidence. Alongside theory, I emphasize practical understanding and real-world applications. I work with students interested in energy solutions, space science, and high-energy physics. Many of them are curious about how plasma physics connects to both futuristic technology and fundamental research. My sessions encourage exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. I also provide guidance in core Physics subjects for school and university students, helping them with exam preparation, assignments, and advanced concept reviews. Whether it’s mastering classical mechanics or exploring the edge of plasma science, I adapt my methods to each learner’s goals. Physics is not just about equations—it is about shaping how we see the universe and what we dream is possible. By understanding plasma, students take a step closer to the future of clean energy and the mysteries of space. Join me in discovering the potential of the fourth state of matter and its power to fuel both knowledge and our future.

My teaching approach in Physics is built around clarity, structure, and confidence. I focus on helping students master AP Physics topics such as Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Thermodynamics, Quantum Physics, and Waves. Alongside this, I also emphasize the strong link between Physics and Mathematics, ensuring students build both conceptual understanding and analytical skills.

I use targeted drills, practice problems, and timed practice tests to strengthen exam performance. Each lesson is designed to review concepts in depth, break down difficult theories into simple steps, and highlight common exam patterns. Problem-solving techniques are practiced repeatedly, helping students see Physics not as a set of formulas, but as a logical system they can master.

Exam strategy is a key part of my methodology. I show students how to manage time, approach multiple-choice questions with smart elimination methods, and write clear, concise solutions for free-response questions. This approach not only prepares them for high scores but also builds lasting academic skills.

Being strong in Mathematics and a fan of scientific creativity, I bring a fresh and engaging perspective to every session. Sometimes I even use examples from science fiction to spark curiosity and connect abstract concepts to imagination.

My goal is to prepare students thoroughly, boost their confidence, and ensure they walk into exams ready to perform at their best. Every student is guided step by step until Physics feels approachable, exciting, and achievable.
