About Nysa
I’m a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Physics. My passion lies in helping students dive deep into condensed matter physics and materials science. I specialize in explaining complex ideas like crystal structures, band theory, and superconductivity in ways that are clear and engaging. Much of my teaching focuses on connecting theory to real-world applications. Whether we’re analyzing semiconductors in smartphones or exploring the physics behind advanced materials, I guide students to see the relevance of what they’re learning. I enjoy working with learners who are curious about how solids and liquids behave at the microscopic and atomic levels. We often use visual tools and models to explore lattice structures, electron behavior, and energy bands. My sessions are interactive and tailored to the student’s pace and interests. I aim to build both confidence and a deep understanding of physical principles. I also incorporate discussions around technological innovations driven by materials science, from solar panels to superconducting magnets. With every session, I strive to make physics not only understandable but exciting. Let’s unlock the secrets of the material world—and the innovations they power—together.

My teaching approach in physics is personalized and nurturing, designed to adapt to each student’s learning style and pace. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding before diving into complex problems. Along with core topics like mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism, I also introduce students to computational aspects of physics.
We explore computer modeling, numerical methods, and data visualization to deepen their grasp of physical systems. I guide students in using scientific programming tools such as Python and MATLAB for simulating real-world physics problems. This hands-on approach encourages critical thinking and computational exploration.
Simulations are powerful tools for learning, and I help students use them to visualize abstract concepts in a clear and interactive way. As a research assistant and nuclear enthusiast, I bring real-world experience into our sessions to spark curiosity and inspire deeper inquiry. I emphasize problem-solving, interpretation of results, and clarity in communication.
Together, we celebrate computational skills while developing a strong physics foundation. Whether it's assignments or exam prep, I support learners at every step. My goal is to make physics exciting, approachable, and empowering for every student I teach.
