About Andrew

When you choose me as your poker coach, you’re not just getting tips and tricks — you’re getting a mentor who understands the game from the inside out. Over the years, I’ve played countless hours of Texas Hold’em and MTTs, learning not only through success but also through the valuable lessons of mistakes and setbacks. Those experiences shaped my style of play and, more importantly, my style of teaching. I know what it feels like to face uncertainty at the table, to wrestle with tough decisions, and to work through the highs and lows of tournament play. That’s exactly why I’m able to guide students with both empathy and expertise. My background as a professional in the utilities industry has instilled in me a deep respect for preparation, structure, and accountability. I bring that same professionalism to poker coaching. Students can expect a clear plan, patient explanations, and a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and testing new strategies. I don’t believe in shortcuts or gimmicks — I focus on building a strong foundation of decision-making, discipline, and confidence that can carry you through both cash games and tournaments. One of the most important tools I bring to coaching is the use of math as a guiding principle. Poker is a game of incomplete information, and players who can apply math effectively — whether it’s calculating pot odds, understanding equity, or balancing risk and reward — consistently gain an edge over their opponents. My love for math allows me to break down complex decisions into simple, understandable steps, giving students confidence in situations where others rely only on instinct. By tying probability and logic into every lesson, I help players see the game not just as chance, but as a series of patterns and opportunities that can be measured and exploited. As your coach, I will not only teach you strategy but also help you understand how to think like a poker player. My goal is to inspire confidence in your choices, reassure you when the game feels overwhelming, and give you the tools to approach every hand with clarity. With my guidance, you’ll know you are learning from someone who is committed to your growth and who values professionalism at every step of the journey.
