My name is Stacey and I live in California. I met Muriel over five years ago in Spain. I have wanted to speak Spanish for over forty years, but have always struggled with learning a language. When I met Muriel I mentioned my past struggles and how emotional it was for me to try again. In her gentle way she made it safe. I struggled through my first few months and slowly became more and more confident. Muriel was a bit of a miracle worker in helping me overcome my insecurities around speaking Spanish. For the past four year we've mostly worked together through Zoom and it's been almost as good as in person. Muriel is professional, kind, patient and very knowledgable. After five years I'm currently able to have conversations in Spanish. Most of our work together is practicing conversational Spanish. I never would have gotten here without Muriel.
