About Youssef
Hello! I'm Youssef, a native English teacher with over five years of experience, specializing in conversational teaching.
After earning a degree in Political Science in Montreal and studying art in France, I built my career around two passions: creativity (through theater) and teaching.
Beyond theater directing, I found in teaching another way to create: sharing a language opens a living space for thought and expression.
I have worked in schools, universities, businesses, and cultural projects, teaching English and leading performing arts workshops.
My approach goes beyond grammar and theory: I help my students speak English confidently and fluently, creating spaces where thinking, feeling, and expressing themselves in English becomes a lively and meaningful experience.

I offer two types of courses tailored to the needs of my students:
A structured program for beginners or those looking to strengthen their foundation, with clear objectives and rigorous follow-up. And conversational classes for intermediate or advanced students who wish to expand their proficiency through cultural exchanges and a variety of topics.
After an initial evaluation and mutual understanding session, I develop a tailored strategy for upcoming courses.
1- For students who want to learn English from scratch or strengthen their foundations, I determine their level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1, A2, B1, etc.). From there, I propose a clear schedule with well-defined stages, specific objectives, and estimated progress dates. I also provide all the necessary teaching materials online: books with exercises, audio files, interactive resources, and end-of-level exams.
2 - For conversational classes, I identify the student's interests and needs, and conduct the necessary research to inform the sessions with interesting texts, stimulating conversation topics, audiovisual materials, etc. Depending on the difficulties I observe, I supplement the classes with specific exercises or grammatical clarifications to correct errors and consolidate mastery of the language.
