About Lena
I'm a native German speaker with years of tutoring experience in teaching students German, Chess, English, Maths, Biology and other subjects.
I would love to help you learning the German language/Chess or improving the skills you already have.
I'm a chess player for 13 years and one of the leaders of a big German chess club. There I'm also one of the chess teachers and organisators and I've been teaching kids and teenagers(approx. 10 students per training or private lessons), as well as adults(beginner courses), chess every week for over 6 years now.
My team and me attended a lot of tournaments such as the German National Championship and now that I moved to London and miss chess, I would love to help someone learn the game and have a lot of fun! I have made experiences in tutoring people of different ages German and chess in London( face-to-face and online) and I would love to help you as well!
My teaching method is about learning by being interested in what you learn. I always connect learning with fun and a lot of examples and scenarios of the daily life so you will be able to understand and memorize them better. I can help you with written and oral German, as well as proof reading etc. and of course teach you how to play chess or how to improve your skills.
