About
Hola, my name is Jacob Velasco. I am from Colombia, but I moved here when I was little. My parents are Hispanic, so I lived in a very Hispanic household and got used to talking and understanding Spanish. Some of my biggest passions are soccer and video production. Soccer has always been my favorite sport and makes me so happy. Video production has always been something I found so extraordinary. It helps spread information worldwide and lets us see what is happening. My passion for teaching is because Spanish is such an important skill to have in life and will greatly benefit anyone who learns it. It makes people here who don't know the language feel more included, helps unify us, and gives peace in a world of chaos.

A typical lesson plan with me will consist of
-A simple bellringer to help get them ready on what we would cover that session.
-Practice questions to see how far they are.
-A little bit of me lecturing from them to understand the concept.
-Questions on what we covered.
-More practice questions to see if they understand assiigment. (If they do not understand them will work with them to get the anser correct and compehened.)
-One on one coverstion to help with aplaing it to the real world.
-Lastly a debreif.
The way I will be set diffrently from a tutor is my mopre friendly apporch on helping my client and to make them as comfortable and safe as possible and these lessons for anyone 17 and under.
