About Amparo
I am a native speaker from Colombia, South America. I studied law and used to work as a University professor. I can help you with Spanish conversation for business and/or just to improve your pronunciation. I can also help you improve your writing, reading and listening skills. Every student has its own pace and I'm more than happy to go at their pace. Tell me your goal and I'll plan accordingly!

My teaching method depends on the needs of my students. Some just want to improve their pronunciation and vocabulary so we can have a conversation about topics that interest the student especially when they want to talk about something specifically. Likewise if the student wants a more conventional approach of reading and writing I can help them improve their skills.

She helped me with my spanish. I've always wanted to be able to speak in spanish without getting stuck so people could understand me but I was always so nervous about talking to other people because I didnt feel comfortable enough. Amparo has been extremely patient and kind with me explaining over and over how to pronounce a word and we talked about interesting topics so it was never boring!
