About Andreia

I am a Quality Assurance Freelancer and Creative Enthusiast / Writer that has formerly worked for Deloitte and Siemens, in IT and User Experience. As a part-time, I've tutored and helped students preparing to Portuguese School's Final Exams in several areas (e.g. Portuguese, Maths and Spanish), both in Middle School and High school (9th and 12th year), ensuring grades' improvement, and tutored several subjects during the year (from 1st to 9th year). As a hobby, I already published a book and I also write short stories and produce short films.

About the lesson

My methodology is custom-tailored based on the students' needs and context. I always have a first chat with students to assess those and then propose the methods that will fit best. I may use different techniques that allow the student to explore the subject during the class and also on their own and suggest extra work that may help them progress faster.

My first free lesson is meant to chat and assess the student level, so we can tailor subsequent classes, and it won't be about the subject itself. The first class will always be at my place or by webcam. Subsequent classes can be at the student place (if >1km, a travel fee may apply depending on the location).
