About Mónica
My name is Monica and I am currently studying medicine. I was born and raised in Spain, in an immigrant family of Chinese origin. I am bilingual Spanish-Chinese, because in the family environment I communicate in Chinese, and since I was little my parents made sure that I did not lose this beautiful part of my culture with Chinese classes (which followed the model of the language classes taught in Chinese primary and secondary schools) and repeated trips to China. Although a part of me will never be completely Chinese and will always feel Spanish. I think this cultural miscegenation is my favorite trait.
