About Pierre
I am a career diplomat from a French speaking country. I got my Bachelor's degree ( Licence-es-Lettres) from the Universite d'Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire). With that degree I should have ended up teaching either French or English in a High School. I chose to teach English grammar for one year then I entered the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) where I was trained to become a diplomat and got a Master's degree.
Then my career became that of a High Public Admistration civil servant. I occupied many high level public functions including that of Ambassador to foreign countries.
Still, my desire to share my knowledge and experience with other people has always been there, especially the will to bring people closer to one another through language practicing.

French is said to be a difficult language and this is one of the reasons why most people avoid learning it. While I may admit that French does have some tough grammatical structures, I remain of the opinion that no language is easy to anyone who doesn't try it, and that any language which is spoken by one person can also be spoken by another person.
So my first approach is to try and kill all kinds of myths around the language and put the students in a psychologically positive attitude. Then I will make them understand that a language is simply a means to express the things of life and that only the language is different, not the things. And I will make my class a very joyful and pleasant time so that the students may learn with no pain.
