About Josie
Hello! I am Josie Long, a neuroscience and pre-medicine student interested in teaching mathematics, chemistry, and other sciences. I have a 3.9 GPA in chemistry and mathematics subjects and would love to help students understand different solving methods that helped me (someone with ADHD) get A’s in my classes.

My name is Josie Long and I have experience teaching younger and middle school aged children and am adept at understanding every students needs and modifying lessons accordingly. Lessons are typically made for middle school aged students however I can teach chemistry and mathematics at a high school level. A typical lesson would include having the student try creative solving methods and determining what the student is comfortable with before giving them practice problems.
