Hi, I’m Jennifer — a passionate math tutor, NYU graduate with a degree in Economics and Game Theory, and a current engineer at Salesforce/Slack. Every student learns differently, so I start by identifying their specific needs—whether it's foundational gaps, test anxiety, or simply boredom due to lack of challenge. Key techniques include: Conceptual Scaffolding: Breaking down complex concepts into logical, digestible steps. Socratic Questioning: Guiding students to discover answers themselves, encouraging critical thinking and long-term retention. Real-World Context: Incorporating examples from economics, coding, or everyday life to make abstract math feel tangible and relevant. Gamification & Strategy: Inspired by game theory, I introduce competitive exercises and strategy-based puzzles that make learning both fun and intellectually engaging.
