About Jonathan
I lived and worked in Korea for 5 years before returning to Scotland. During that time, I spoke Korean the majority of the time, both at work (as a translator), and at home. I also worked in bars on a voluntary basis, to learn how the language is really spoken, and even audited a PhD class on Confucianism (albeit briefly!)

I have three years' classroom teaching experience, and practice the 'direct' method of teaching. I focus on what it is you want to learn, and get you there as quickly and thoroughly as possible, whether you're learning the alphabet or aiming for high-level grammatical accuracy. Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1.5 hours long.
